Zaineb Alaoui studied Medical Physics in Berlin and worked after her graduation as a medical physicist as well as a lecturer.

Her artistic practice has accompanied her since childhood. During her professional career, she continued to develop her painting in a self-taught manner and created her first works. At the same time, she engaged intensively with photography and questions of perception, memory, and inner visual worlds.

With her return to painting, she developed a free and intuitive approach to abstract art. Her works are characterized by the experimental use of color, texture, and various materials. From this, she develops an independent visual language that deliberately resists clear stylistic categorization.

In her studio in Düsseldorf, she creates works in which personal experiences, moods, and inner processes are translated into abstract pictorial spaces. Her practice moves between gesture and condensation, in a field of tension defined by memory, perception, and atmosphere.

Following her first solo exhibition in Düsseldorf in 2025, her work was shown in Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, and France. In 2026, her works were also presented in the Netherlands.

Her works open up a visual space in which color, structure, and atmosphere merge. A reduced, intuitive visual language leaves room for individual perception and interpretation.
